SING SIGN : a close duet, photo by Robin Gillanders, 2015
Artist Hanna Tuulikki will talk about her new commission for the festival SING SIGN: a close duet with Ruth Barker, who acted as dramaturg for the project, and contributed an essay on Tuulikki's work to the The Improbable City catalogue. Barker is a Glasgow-based artist, whose work is grounded in performance.
They will be joined by British Sign Language interpreter Karen Forbes, who will demonstrate some of the signs behind the choreography in SING SIGN.

GARAGE Presents : Exit Strategies
7-9pm Friday, 12-5pm over the weekend

Following on from last year's Compensation Culture Adrian Lee returns to GARAGE with Exit Strategies, in which he explores the concepts behind health and safety motifs. His installations in GARAGE will be available to view 12-5 over the weekend and will be accompanied by, The Scientologist Personality Test Pub Quiz in a local venue on the 7th.

Training for facilitators, teachers & support workers
Work with artists in Edinburgh Art Festival venues to explore how to engage your groups with the free galleries, commissions and events on offer.

During the festival, each afternoon at 2pm there are free guided tours of venues, leaving from the festival Kiosk on Blair Street (no booking required).
With different routes to choose from , these are a great way to find your way through the city and explore the festival.
