In partnership with Edinburgh Art Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival will present the single screen film version of Isaac Julien’s Lessons of the Hour at St Andrew’s Square – a poetic meditation on the life and times of Frederick Douglass, the visionary African American orator, philosopher, intellectual, and self-liberated freedom-fighter, who was born into slavery in Maryland, USA.
St Andrew Square is on street level and is accessible by wheelchair.
There will be accessible toilets on site. If you require a wheelchair space for the screening of Isaac Julien’s Lessons of the Hour, please call the Edinburgh International Film Festival team on 0131 623 8030.
