Jacob's Ladder is a steep staircase carved from the volcanic rock of Calton hill which leads down from Regent Road (to the east of Princes Street) emerging under the Calton Rail Bridge on Calton Road. While at Regent Road, take time to take in the magnificent views over the Old Town.
