Overview
Jennifer Bailey’s practice explores and questions the permeability of art production to patriarchal structures, desire, capital and paid work. Often revealing the conditions of its making, work investigates the visual codes that constitute authenticity.
Jennifer Bailey received an MFA from Glasgow School of Art. She has recently exhibited at Space in Between,London, Intermedia, CCA, Glasgow, Glasgow Sculpture Studios, Embassy, Edinburgh, Malmö Konsthall and Bloomberg New Contemporaries, 2012. Jennifer Bailey has been selected for the Autumn residency in Hospitalfield, Arbroath 2016.
This exhibition is part of Collective’s Satellites Programme 2016.
