Overview
To conclude our exciting children and families programme of workshops Edinburgh Art Festival has partnered with the Serpentine Gallery to bring you their touring Build Your Own Pavillion Workshops. These workshops are part of the Build Your Own Pavilion Young Architects Challenge - an international competition for 8-14 year olds to design a small scale model of a flexible outdoor structure. The project celebrates and promotes architecture to young people and sets them with the task to design the pavilions of the future.
The workshops will be a combination of idea generation, sketching and model making, all designed for 8-14 year olds, run by designer and KIDESIGN founder Dejan Mitrovic. Take a look at what happened in last year’s workshops.
