A fun chance to see and hear from world-class sculptors, painters, installation artists, architects and landscape architects shaping the world we live in. Each presenter will show 20 slides for strictly 20 seconds per slide, totalling 6 minutes 40 seconds, in an exhilarating whirlwind journey through a kaleidoscope of inspirations, ideas and work.
Edinburgh Pecha Kucha is brought to the EAF by Studio DuB, in association with the Royal Scottish Academy. Between the show there will be time to discuss ideas, dream up collaborations and be part of the buzz that comes from enormous creative talent under one roof.
Pecha Kucha (Japanese for chit-chat) was started in Tokyo in 2003 by Klein Dytham Architecture. It quickly went global and now happens in over 200 cities world wide.
