We Form Geology

For her solo show in Scotland’s only mobile contemporary gallery, Ilana Halperin explores geological and mineral phenomena around Scotland and within the human body.
Her installation will include drawings, etchings, woodblock prints, films, sculptures as well as geologic specimens from National Museums Scotland. The exhibition will also relate to the local geological landscape that the Travelling Gallery will tour through on its journey around Scotland.
The Travelling Gallery will be at a different location in Edinburgh each day.

Artist's Talk: Andrew Miller

Artist Andrew Miller talks about his practise and The Waiting Place, his work for this year's Edinburgh Art Festival in conversation with Sorcha Carey, Director of EAF. Miller's practise generates an ambiguity between form and function, often inviting us to reconsider discarded materials and objects. His work takes many forms including sculpture, photography, drawing and site specific installations.

Anthony Schrag, Tourist in Residence: Pub!

Artist Anthony Schrag is running a series of performance tours which invite you to engage with the city in different ways. Each tour will be unique.
This performance: Pub! An alternative pub crawl that explores the identity of Edinburgh though Scotland’s favourite pastime - drinking. Moving along Rose Street’s various pubs, the discussions will be guided by visiting speakers, questions to prompt discussion, as well as historical facts and images.
The tour is free to join but booking is essential and numbers are limited. Tours will commence from The Waiting Place at St. Andrew Square.
