For centuries, the Scottish landscape has provided artists with a rich source of inspiration. Whether responding to rural scenes and urban topographies or engaging with environmental issues, the subject is ever-evolving.

Shifting Vistas presents a selection of historic and contemporary landscapes from the City Art Centre’s fine art collection. The exhibition features over 30 different artists, including Alexander Nasmyth, John Lavery, SJ Peploe, William Gillies, Joan Eardley, Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, Jon Schueler, Carol Rhodes, Victoria Crowe, Kate Downie, Ade Adesina and Ravi Agarwal.
