The EAF Civic Programme is a year-round collaboration with artists, individuals and communities who are finding alternative ways to resist through the arts. These projects aim to innovate safer, more accessible, and engaging festival programming during periods of social change, and to centre the voices of those who have historically been excluded from public spaces and the creative sectors.
Civic practice provides the space, time and resources for longer-term creative collaborations and co-curated opportunities. The programme is built on care, growth, trust-building and new possibilities between EAF and the community organisations, artists, and charities we partner with.
