Wonder Woman

The Scottish Gallery exhibition

27th July 23 - 26th August 23

This is a past exhibition.

This summer, The Scottish Gallery celebrates three remarkable artists: Held almost two years after the artist’s death, Dame Elizabeth Blackadder (1931-2021) | A Celebration highlights work from seven decades of the artist’s career, working in partnership with the RSA, Dovecot Studios, Glasgow Print Studios and Phaidon Publishing.

Wendy Ramshaw, CBE, RDI (1939-2018) | The Early Years showcases the work of the international champion of modern jewellery. Her signature ringsets are represented in over 70 public collections worldwide. She held a close working relationship with The Scottish Gallery during her lifetime and this exhibition will examine her early modernist pieces juxtaposed with classic examples throughout her career.

Bodil Manz at 80 celebrates the 80th year of internationally acclaimed Danish ceramicist Bodil Manz, known for her predominant use of ultra-thin, translucent eggshell porcelain to create distinctive cylindrical forms, anchored by bold, geometric abstractions.
