Steven Aalders: Cardinal Points

Initiated by the artist Alan Johnston and architect Neil Gillespie, sleeper brings to Edinburgh a rich diversity of national and international art. An archetypal white cube gallery, sleeper lends the viewer an intimacy with work in situation.

‘I will show a series of 4 small paintings. The series is entitled Cardinal Points, consisting of 4 paintings made of oil paint on linen, sharing the same size (40 x 40cm each) and having the same image in different colour schemes. I will install the four at sleeper, one on each wall.’ Steven Aalders
