From the National Galleries of Scotland to artist-led
spaces, the Edinburgh
Art Festival
celebrates the rich diversity of the city's art organisations.
The EAF website features 34 venues and organisations across Edinburgh
whose imaginative and innovative exhibitions and projects collectively
make up this year's programme.
The galleries and organisations which make up
the festival exhibit a range of new and
existing artwork. This includes work by internationally renowned artists, works
loaned
from some of the world's most prestigious and important collections, artistic
talent from
Scotland, and exciting collaborative projects by artists working across different
media
including site-specific installations.
An information point for the Edinburgh Art Festival, the Reading Room,
will be open
throughout
the festival. Located at Edinburgh College of Art, the Reading Room
will
contain catalogues,
images and general information about artists, galleries and exhibitions,
this is a useful resource
for press and public alike. Internet access will also be available
