Big Things on the Beach is an established public art trust based in Edinburgh. The Garden Gallery is a new, curated interactive art space launching to coincide with the Edinburgh Art Festival 2008. This is a unique openair exhibition environment in which local people will play a role as Garden Gallery ‘hosts’. The exhibition will take place in a variety of connected venues, outside the confines of the gallery, including private and public spaces.
Artwork featured includes 2/3D work, installation work, sound and performance by local and internationally recognised artists. The Garden Gallery explores the relationships between people and art, creating a dialogue in the environs of Edinburgh’s wonderful city beach.
