On Carl Sagan’s original Golden Record, UN Secretary General Kurt Waldheim spoke to intelligent extraterrestrial life forms on behalf of the Human Race. Audiences for this series of weekly late night husting events at the Pleasance, Queen Dome will be invited to vote for a new representative. Three comedians a week present a 15 minute address to any aliens who may intercept the new Golden Record - finalists from the first three ‘heats’ will compete in an Election Night Special on the 23rd August, complete with brass band, streamers and balloons.
