Craigmillar Library

As well as browsing and borrowing books, Craigmillar Library offers study space, public computer and printer access, a photocopier, free period products, and a seed library, in partnership with Craigmillar Community Grows. In partnership with Tinderbox Orchestra, members of Craigmillar Library of all ages can borrow musical instruments for free.

As a local community space, the library is home to an event programme including film screenings, reading groups for young people, art and crafts clubs, and social and digital support groups for older people.

Craigmillar Library is now the ongoing home of EAF permanent commission, Rabiya Choudhry’s light installation Give light and people will find the way (Ella Baker)
