Amuse - Bouche, new collaborative work by Rowan Mace, Pester & Rossi, Sarah Kenchington, Belinda Gilbert Scott and Emma Bowen, GARAGE, 2015.

Each year Edinburgh Art Festival works with a number of artists, partners, artist-led organisations and creative bodies in delivering the UK's largest annual festival of visual art.

There are several key modes of participation: Partnership, Pop-up Exhibitions and Events, Platform: 2016 and Volunteering.

Partnership

Partnership in Edinburgh Art Festival is through a formal process of enquiry and application. If you are a visual arts organisation within Edinburgh and are interested in contributing towards the festival programme, please make an initial enquiry to [email protected]

All proposals for partnership are presented to the Edinburgh Art Festival Board.

Pop-up Exhibitions and Events - Call for Submissions

Every year, we invite proposals for projects conceived for Edinburgh Art Festival by curators, artists and organisations working in the field of visual art and visual culture. If you have a project specially conceived to be shown at Edinburgh Art Festival, or you are a venue that only opens during the festival, you can apply to be part of our programme. Platform: 2016 - Early Career Artists

If you are an early career artist ready to showcase your work, we’d like to hear from you.

Full information available on how to apply is available here.

Volunteering

Each year Edinburgh Art Festival works with a team of volunteers, offering opportunities to gain experience of working in the vibrant visual art sector during one of the busiest times in the city. Volunteers participate across the festival, from invigilating commissioned works to leading tours and hosting our festival kiosk.

A call out for volunteers is posted every Spring, if you’d like to be sent more details about this, please sign up to our mailing list or email [email protected]
